About Emma ReDesigned

Hello!  

Thanks for stopping by. I'm a resident of North Florida and I'm the happiest when I am creating! 

Being a furniture artist has always been on my radar.  Since retiring I now have the time to play with paints to bring new life to old pieces of furniture. Some of my pieces I've found on the side of the road destined for the landfill. Every time one of my pieces sells you can bet there is a happy dance going on in my studio!

Photography is another passion of mine. I am very fortunate to have traveled to some pretty cool places to capture amazing photos. I will post photos here as I love sharing them just as much as taking them.

Creativity runs in the family. Hence the name, Emma ReDesigned. My paternal grandmother, Emma Faibisy was a dress designer in the early 1900's. She had a salon in New York City and her gowns were worn on Broadway by actress, Irene Castle.  Pretty cool! I wanted to honor and hopefully channel some of her talents in my business. 

I am thankful for my adventures in art. Most of my best friends are because of our shared love of art.  I hope you'll become a regular as I look forward to this chapter.
